PNSQC and PLUS QA are excited to collaborate on a joint presentation on how quality assurance and digital accessibility come together! We’ll discuss how to integrate accessibility into every stage of the SDLC, including both manual exploratory testing and automation tools. Whether you're in software development or just curious about digital accessibility, this session is your introduction to web accessibility testing. No prior accessibility experience is needed!
We’ll start with the core principles of accessibility, then explore how they naturally align with quality assurance practices. You’ll learn how to recognize common issues and where accessibility fits into your existing testing matrix. Additionally, we'll discuss a few popular tools for accessibility and how automation plays a role (and where it doesn’t). PLUS QA is also excited to share how they've adapted their testing strategy over the last decade to meet the always-evolving accessibility rules and guidelines for the businesses they work with.
